My @student.nocccd.edu email address is expiring, what do I do now?

If you are a currently-enrolled Cypress College student, you will need to start using your @cypresscollege.edu student email account. All @student.nocccd.edu email accounts will be disabled on March 30th, 2024. Any data not moved by this date will be lost.

If you a current student and your account has been deactivated before March 30th, you can follow these steps to regain temporary access:

  • send an email to: ishelpdesk@nocccd.edu
  • in the subject line include your full name & your 8-digit Banner ID/student ID number
  • in the body of the mail include this information: "My student.nocccd.edu email (insert your student.nocccd.edu email here) has been deactivated. Can you help me reactivate it?"

As long as you are a current student, you will hear back from the IS Help Desk with directions on how to save any documents or information from that email account before March 30th. 

Be sure to change your preferred email address in myGateway:

  • Log in to myGateway and go to the "My Information" widget
  • Go to "Update Information"
  • Use the pencil icon to edit your preferred email address information or use "Add New" to add a new email address.
