If I save something on the desktop of a campus computer, will it be there the next day? Can I access my documents saved on one campus computer on another campus computer?
Answer
All items are deleted from the campus computers each night, so you will not be able to access any items saved to the computer's hard drive the next day. You will not be able to access documents saved on one campus computer on another campus computer.
Cypress College offers students software via the My Software Hub, helpful for saving materials. Click on "My Office Online" to access Microsoft 365 and OneDrive. OneDrive can store your items in the cloud, so you can access them anywhere, as long as you have internet, your student email address, and your MyGateway password. Example: 00001111@cypresscollege.edu.
